This was one of my favourite early product designs that I've done. The requirement was to create a 'Follow Categories Widget' that allows subscribers to follow very specific categories of news articles on Farmers Weekly This will allow for a more tailored customer experience. The main challenge was the vast number of categories that needed to be considered and the hierarchy in which they were presented. My solution was to use a three tiered panel that allow users to select either full categories (eg. all of Arable) or specific sub-categories (Pesticides).

This solution needed to be easy for use on both Desktop and Mobile devices.
